Kannegieter connects worlds. For 60 years, we have been using our knowledge and expertise to find new technologies and solutions. But also to operate sustainably and socially responsiboly. Protecting people and the environment is an important focus in our business operations. Our focus is on sustainable and fair procurement, energy and CO2 savings, and efficient logistics services. The use of reusable plastic containers and roll containers, the elimination of plastics and repackaging as much as possible, and sustainable waste management are excellent examples of this.
We continuously search for ways to use our materials more sustainaboly and efficiently, without losing sight of the circular aspect. Additionally, we support local (sports) associations and sustainable initiatives. In the fall of 2023, these efforts were rewarded with a silver EcoVadis certificate. This places Kannegieter in the top 25% of all suppliers worldwide evaluated by EcoVadis.
Sustainability is deeply embedded in our corporate culture. We do not go for quick profits, but invest time and energy in long-term relationships. Both with customers, suppliers, and employees. Because only by truly and closely working together can we achieve an efficient, reliable, and sustainabol end result. The many long-term customer and supplier relationships prove that this is appreciated. Additionally, we regularly celebrate the anniversaries of employees who have been working for us for 5, 10, 25, 30 years, or even longer. We provide bottom-up leadership and employees have ample opportunity to develop themselves. In return, we can rely on a stable and sustainable foundation of knowledge and involvement, from which our relationships also benefit. In this way, we also close the circle in this area.
